Martin Rodahl Director/Founder‍

Martin Rodahl is an award-winning director and the founder of 71 Degrees North. He's a multilingual international traveler with a passion for storytelling. His work has earned Telly, Davey, Addy, Cablefaxie, Northern Lights, Cynopsis, Aurora, Communicator, Hugo, AICE, Art Directors Club, and Creativity awards. In the independent feature film world, Martin has produced and financed projects that have screened at such festivals as Cannes, SXSW, and Tribeca. His forays into television has landed him two shows with NBC/Universal and Discovery Channel.

Nate Camponi Director

Nate Camponi joins the 71 Degrees North team from the UK. He stole his parent's VHS of Blade Runner when he was 12 and never looked back.  His passion for cinema honed his sharp eye for the craft of filmmaking and his cinematic sensibility lends itself perfectly to the world of commercials and visual content.  He has been awarded at Creative Circle and Cannes Lions as well as in the finals at Straight8, Virgin Media Shorts and selected for The Smalls Festival and Kino Shorts in the UK.  But most importantly, he’s always up for a pint.

Neha Datt Schultz Executive Producer

Neha Datt Schultz joins 71 Degrees North as an Executive Producer after a long career at the top entertainment companies, Harpo Studios and CAA. Her role involves creating new business in branded content and television as well as maintaining relationships with long-standing clients.

Michael Nowicki Producer

Michael joins the 71DN team as a Producer that also directs and edits content as needed. As a man with many talents and passions, he aspires to excel in every endeavor to redefine the modern day renaissance man. He is a self-described autodidact with an appetite for adventure. If you happen to run into him off a film set, he’s probably either scaling up a mountain or snowboarding down it.

Jana McLain Equipment Manager

Jana McLain is a cinematographer and camera assistant in charge of handling 71 Degrees North's equipment. She is trained with both film and digital technical skills to maintain gear. Hailing from Las Vegas, Jana grew up on the potent blend of horror films, dance, and fine art. She enjoys using her variety of influences to create bold, dynamic content that is as engaging and unique as she is.

Sonia Reps Midwest Sales

The Sonia Reps team is led by Sonia Blum. Her years on the representation side as an agency Account Director, along with her experience as Director of Business Development on the production side, give her the expertise to navigate the representation world. The other half of the team is industry veteran, Hillary Herbst, whose background in production serves clients well. Sonia Reps, formerly Hilly Reps, has been with 71 Degrees North since 2013.

Editorial

71 Degrees North handles all aspects of post production in-house, working with its network of editors and finishing artists. In addition to editing remotely or on set, our suite at the Chicago office can accommodate supervised sessions with up to 10 clients.

Gear

71 Degrees North is now renting equipment for projects large and small. Thanks to the gear we own, we're also increasing the production value of our own shoots as we can leverage this resource when needed.
